Misch 4x4 Big Boy seat brackets

I'm looking at these seat brackets to gain some legroom, but they are $70 a piece and look like they can be fabricated. Has anyone fabricated a set of knock offs similar to these? Perhaps a cut sheet showing measurements is out there?
